My Mom’s Apple Pie !

I think i was 7 years old when my mom did this apple pie for the first time ….. i ‘ve never tasted something like that before….

And until now is my favorite dessert.

Did some changes ( of course lol)  to make it healthier and light as we want ! and ….. hummmm avoid the ice cream with it just sprinkle with lots of cinammon and enjoy your sweet moment !

Recipe :

Perheat oven to 180 degrees.

In a bowl stir together  4 tea cups of whole oat flour, 10 table spoons of almond flour, 6 tablespoons of ghee or organic butter and 4 tablespoons of honey. Just blend with your hands all  the ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs and cover a pie pan with this dough.

Cook 5 apples with cinammon sticks and blend it , put it on the dough, if you want sprinkle with a tablespoon of coconut sugar.

Cut apples in wedges and top the apple filling . Sprinkle cinammon and little bit of more sugar.

 

Bake in the middle of the oven about 20-25 minutes .

 

 

It’s delicious …  sometimes i do small pies … froze them and when i want something special, just for me, … voilá i have the perfect choice in a perfect size  .
