Who don´t like to have a warm cake with a cup of tea in a cold afternoon ?!
Here, in Doha is not properly cold …… but the wish for the cake still the same in this season .
This cake was ispired in a recipe from a book called ” Dias com Mafalda ” de Mafalda Pinto Leite.
- 3 apples
- 2 tablespoones of lemon juice
- 300 ml plain Yogurt
- 100 gr almond butter
- 5 eggs
- 300 gr spelt flour
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 150gr Brown sugar
Mix sugar, almond butter, vanilla, and eggs for 10 m until light and fluffy.
Slowly add the flour in the mixture.
Fold in the chopped apples.
Pour the batter into a cake pan, bake the cake 180 degrees, until lightly golden.
Enjoy without guilt !
