My Roasted Chicken …. inspired on a Jamie’s Oliver Recipe

I knew Jamie Oliver in 2006 in his first  TV show  and i became a huge fan.  Love his recipes, his photos, but sometimes i change his recipes to make it with less calories 😉 .

This roasted chicken is delicious, a made it only with vegetable fat and herbs, make it healthier a lighter.


  • 1 bulb of garlic
  • 5 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • olive oil
  • 1  kg whole free-range chicken
  • 1 lemon
  • smoked Paprika
  • pepper


  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Break the garlic bulb into cloves, leaving them unpeeled, then lightly crush with the flat side of a knife. Pick the rosemary leaves, discarding the stalks. Stuff the chicken cavity with the whole lemon .
  • Rub the chicken all over  with garlic and rosemary leaves, the Paprika to the tray. Drizzle with olive oil, season with sea salt and black pepper. Roast for 45 minutes.
